Jinxter occurs as text adventure computer game developed by Magnetic Scrolls and published by Rainbird in 1987.

Jinxter is placed in the fictional country of Aquitania, which bears a hard resemblance to early-to-middle 20th century Britain. A central characters in the story come known as "guardians" - immortal beings who look fallowing & serve more population. These "guardians" come described when liking to get into herringbone overcoats and eating cheese sandwiches.

a charming object, known as the Turani bracelet, holds luck and distributes it throughout Aquitania. Notwithstanding, the bracelet was purloined by a witch called Jannedor Nasty, world health organization stripped it of its 5 sorcerous charms & hid the children inside various pages. A streaming video player character is, jolly good deal inadvertently, recruited per defender to retrieve a charms & fix a Turani bracelet, restoring luck to Aquitania.
